TA Student Guide - Coast Guard

If you are Active Duty in the Coast Guard and want to pursue Tuition Assistance, please use the Coast Guard User Guide attached to this article. This guide outlines all the steps you will need to take in order to apply for TA.

You will be logging into MyCG ED at this link with your CAC, DoD ID or Social Security Number: https://myeducation.netc.navy.mil/

Degree plans will be required if you are using 6 or more credit hours. Here are the credit and amount details for your TA branch:

Credit: $250 each

Annual Amount Awarded: $4500

Application Window: 14 to 120 days prior to class; must be approved, 2 courses at a time
